the other really wonky unmemorable song from Remission. Trampled Under Hoof (wonky time signature that makes the song less accessible, monotonous shredding on the verses, lyrics are incomprehensible even for Mastodon)Ĥ. Some of these may trigger you just a fair warning.ĥ. I'd love to see other people's lists too cuz I know I can't be the only one who has a few songs that even a big Mastodon fan can't get behind. That being said there are definitely some songs that I am more likely to skip over or ignore because of how weak they are in comparison to the rest of their discography. I normally don't like to focus on negatives especially with a band like Mastodon who have never made a song I purely hate or that I think is bad. It's honestly not that bad of a drag as I thought. I'll be considering a suitable replacement but for now we gonna say number four is The Sparrow because it puts me to sleep tbhĮDIT 2: After much deliberation and about a full hour of listening to Hearts Alive I have decided to remove it from the list. His favourite bands are Fields Of The Nephilim, The Cure, New Model Army, All About Eve, The Mission, Ned's Atomic Dustbin and Drab Majesty, but he also still has a deep love of Rush.EDIT: I'm likely going to be changing number four because after listening to Hearts Alive twice in a row now I've determined I am hilariously full of shit.
